This workshop is designed to help participants develop strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills to navigate day-to-day interactions with confidence and professionalism. Participants will learn practical techniques to express ideas clearly, listen actively, manage misunderstandings, and foster a more respectful and connected work environment.
Course Content
The delivery and content of all our workshops is contextualised to the specific needs of the participants and organisation at no additional cost, however, this topic typically includes:
- Understanding the communication process, barriers, and key principles
- Verbal communication skills – Speaking clearly, confidently, and appropriately in different workplace scenarios
- Active listening skills – Listening to understand, not just respond, and improving mutual understanding
- Non-verbal communication – Body language, tone of voice, facial expressions, and their impact
- Giving and receiving feedback – Delivering constructive feedback and responding to feedback respectfully
- Communication in Teams and Meetings
- Managing Difficult Conversations
- Staying calm, respectful, and solution-focused in challenging situations
- Identifying and understanding various learning styles/needs*
